The Black Forest Zäpfle naturally cloudy is brewed according to historical models. Nevertheless, like all Rothaus beers, it is produced with our soft brewing water from our own springs just behind the brewery in the forest. Quality malt from the region and aromatic hops from Tettnang and the Hallertau are also part of the Rothaus brewing process.

Without the filtering step, you not only taste the "untouched Black Forest", you can even see it in the cloudy end product.
