A Munich specialty.
As unique as the Oktoberfest itself
The Munich Oktoberfest is the most famous and largest beer festival in the world. Every year, over six million visitors celebrate the unique atmosphere and Munich beer. As early as 1810, at the first Oktoberfest, held on the occasion of the wedding of Prince Ludwig and his wife Therese, a bar of the then "Royal Hofbräuhaus" was present to serve the court festivities. To this day, the Hofbräu Oktoberfest Beer – a full-bodied, bottom-fermented specialty beer – with its delicate hop aroma, tastes just right with Wiesnhendl (a traditional Bavarian chicken dish).
